# Gummy OS

> Your creative computer, with you in control.

Gummy OS is a local-first, Human-controlled creative workspace delivered through the browser. It preserves durable project state in a Local Gummy Box and lets the Human arrange sources, people, specialist tools, review decisions, and destinations in a visual Composer.

Gummy OS v1 is production complete. The stable release line is v1.0.1 (immutable v1.0.0 preserved) at https://www.mygum.my/.

## Product model

- Human: the person who owns authority and chooses what becomes canonical.
- Actor: a persistent identity or participant.
- Agent: a replaceable runtime that may act for an authorized Actor.
- Gummy Box: the Human-owned durable home for sources, results, Receipts, imports, backups, and connections.
- Composer: the editable Human representation of a Production configuration. Canvas changes are proposals only.
- Production: a governed undertaking involving Actors, sources, plans, Runs, Returns, and Receipts.
- Master Control: the authority surface for scope, cost, permissions, revocation, and execution review.
- Make Production: the sole Production-wide transition that may begin governed execution.
- Return: a runtime result returned to its exact Production context.
- Receipt: evidence of what was attempted, what happened, by whom, under which authority, and with what limitations.

- Local onboarding without an account.
- Night and Day Gummy environments.
- Human-owned Local Gummy Box with import quarantine, bounded export, backup, restore, search, filters, and provenance.
- Visual Composer with reusable starting patterns, goal/audience/success/boundary brief, drag and keyboard/touch equivalents, typed connections, undo/redo, duplication, list view, readiness, and impact explanation.
- Governed Productions, specialist Actor surfaces, Actor Plan compilation, Master Control, deterministic Runs, Returns, Receipts, and Human acceptance.
- Gummy Places including Channels, Wardrobe, House, Worlds, Table, Radio, and Rooms, with capability-specific availability truth.
- Living Collaboration objects: Actor Presence, saved Social Instances, Shared Vision, Production Agreements, Production Pools, Contribution Ledgers, Formation Events, Command Center projections, and Distribution Plans.
- Connected production workbenches for House, Worlds, and Radio through explicit origin-checked handoffs where configured.

## Important boundaries

- A Composer edit never executes work, grants authority, charges money, accepts a result, or publishes anything.
- Agent identity never replaces Actor or Human identity.
- Completion is not Human acceptance.
- Acceptance is not publication.
- Shared compute records are authorization and reconciliation records; Gummy OS does not claim internal currency or pooled-fund custody.
- Exact address release, final generated Radio voice, remote Channels publication, remote multi-Human live media, and authenticated Meshmallow construction remain separately gated unless their real services are connected.
- Live Google Agent Platform and live MCP provider execution are not enabled in Gummy OS v1.
- Google runtime principals, Memory Bank, provider telemetry ingestion, MCP hosts/servers, specialist live adapters, and background provider execution are optional post-v1 infrastructure.
- No active product capability depends on those optional integrations.
